THESE ARE SOLD OUT! THEY WERE A LIMITED RUN AND WE ARE OUT OF THEM.

We know; what do Dia De Los Muertos skulls have to do with the holidays in December? Not much, but we didn't really want to have to wait until next November to launch this strap. Since 13 is such a nice lucky number, we made 13 of these this month. When they are gone they are gone. So get 'e, while you can.

As we understand it Travis Kennedy originally purchased this fabric with the intent of turning it in to golf shorts. Instead he had us turn it into guitar straps. Good call Travis. Travis hails from Mississippi and is a twang banger in the band GodSpeed3.

Travis, thanks for sending us the fabric. Your free Ugly of the Month for December is already in the mail.

Do you have some fabric lying around that would make an Ugly and wonderful guitar strap? Drop Patrick@jaykco and line and let him know. If we use your fabric you get a free strap.

My first JayKco strap and it won't be my last

Andy Ronayne on 20th Dec 2010

The Ugly December 2010 guitar strap arrived this morning (21 December 2010) - 9 days from the USA to Oz at Christmas, that's a very good start. I opened the packet and was impressed by what I saw. The strap looks even better in person than it does in the photos. While the JayKco flyer states that these handmade straps aren't perfect, this one is - the attention to detail is spot on and all the stitching looks perfect. Very nice work indeed. I'm looking forward to ordering more of your straps - thank you Patrick!

The Most Unique Straps In Existence

Travis Kennedy on 14th Dec 2010

These straps are beyond head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. They are not silly looking straps with terrible graphics. These straps are classy and beautiful and are a perfect compliment to your nice guitar. To put a silly strap on a guitar is sacrilege. You can rest assured that these straps will be noticed when you have them on. The quality of construction is evident immediately upon opening the package and viewing your strap for the first time. I have 4 of the JayKcos and have thrown my original straps away. The original straps that I owned weren't worth giving away.
